SEE Academy
Certification that names its awarding bodies.
Four pathways, from a single course through to full expert status. Continuing Professional Development credit is recognised internationally, and we will tell you exactly which body accredits which pathway before you enrol, not after.
The pathways
They stack. A Certificate of Achievement is not a dead end, it is the first step of the Executive Certificate.
- Certificate of Achievement
- Completion of a single course. The entry point, and often how an organisation trials us before committing a cohort.
- Executive Certificate
- Three courses in a chosen specialisation plus one core course, or any four courses on the Sustainability Leadership track.
- Certified Sustainability Expert
- The full specialisation. Seven named courses covering food, energy, water, products, mobility, waste and urban planning.
- CPD accredited
- Continuing Professional Development credit, for professionals who have to evidence ongoing development to a licensing body or employer.
Who takes them
Four groups, in roughly this order of volume.
- Sustainability professionals
- People already carrying the mandate who need depth outside their original discipline.
- Business leaders
- Executives who have to make commitments in public and want to understand what they are signing.
- Urban planners and designers
- Practitioners integrating sustainable and regenerative principles into development.
- Engineers and environmental specialists
- Technical staff working on renewable systems, efficiency and environmental compliance.

Accreditation is only worth the accreditor's name.
Two awarding bodies sit behind these pathways, and we name them at enrolment along with exactly what each one certifies. A certificate whose issuer you cannot look up is not a credential, it is a printout.
