Research Center

Joint work, data access, or a question you cannot answer alone.

The Research Center works with industry, governments and academia. Collaborations have ranged from a verified greenhouse gas inventory to a study of what actually shifts resident behaviour in a planned community.

The SEE Institute Research Center

Published openly, with authorship shared.

Collaborative work is published with named authors and a citation, in peer-reviewed venues where the subject warrants it. If it is worth doing together it is worth putting your name on.

Ways to work together

Joint research projects
Co-designed studies with shared authorship, typically over one to three years, published openly.
Living lab access
Use the district as a study environment for a project we are not otherwise involved in.
Thesis and capstone supervision
For students and early career researchers. An extended abstract is the starting point.
Commissioned assessment
Inventories, impact assessments and baselines, of the kind Dubai Carbon has independently verified for us.

What is the question?

Specific beats general. Even a badly formed question with real data behind it is easier to work with than a well written expression of interest.
